The website has been fully restored to normal operations. The data center had a major power outage, that failed twice.

It was between the server facility and it's UPS/generator operations so backup power was not available. Georgia Power resolved the problems last night. However, because the network was not yet fully operational when the servers came back up, the web server software failed to launch properly, and that was resolved by me this morning.

I was wondering who had forgotten to pay the light bill!

They've had a good track record over the past 22 years I've used them, so I'll give them a pass. This is the first system-wide outage they've had that I can recall.

    Stuff happens.....

We kind of live in the 'outback' where infrastructure is relegated to used or leftovers. The Power company has been doing a much better job keeping trees trimmed back from the power lines along the "coastal corridor". I bought the 4500 GenSet a few years ago and that seems to have alleviated or at least reduced to no more than 20 / 30 minutes. On the other hand, the ranch/farm, 7 miles south has them every winter and they usually last 3 to 12 days, depending on how wide the storm damage is. I've put some hours on it out there.
