    Hey guys,
Swapping a 302 into my 69 F100, has a top loader transmission. I need a 50 oz flywheel for my motor.
Should i swap the bellhousing and go to a 157 tooth flywheel or keep it as is and buy a 50oz 164 tooth flywheel?

Any help from anyone who’s went through this would be great. thanks

Jruark, I can't answer your questions directly. Just a note to you IF you are not aware. Tho the 240-300 six's and the small block ford 260, 289, 302, 351, share the same bell housing pattern and the flywheels interchange. You CAN'T mix match the flywheels as the the six's and the V8' are balanced differently. One is internally balanced and the other externally. You need to choose a V8 Flywheel for your 302. In your question, saying what the engine coming out was might shed more light for someone responding. Posting in the 67 to 72 Forum would be a better chance for response. Cap
