I have 4000 miles on my powerboost 2023 f150 lariat. This probem has happened twice now, warning light...12v battery state of charge low comes on then goes into battery saver mode, disabling some features such as being able to start vehicle from my phone and exterior lighting turning on when coming up to truck when it reconizes the key. It stays in this mode until dealership clears the code, no problem has ever been found. no difference in driving patterns have changed. I was told there are no reprograms or bulletines that address this issue.

If the battery has dropped below 12.05 volts, it gives this message. How long is it sitting between drives?

The longest it sits is 24 hours

the most vehicle sits between drives is a day and a half, brought into the dealership multiple times, replaced battery last time, no change, same symptoms

From what I've learned, unlike conventional setups which charge the battery from 13.8+ alternator output, its charged from the auxillary battery circuit which is at 12.7v. So it doesn't charge up quickly like a normal auto charging system. If you're going a lot of short trips, the truck battery needs to be maintained with a trickle charger - or drive longer trips. :(

Do you think if I replaced my battery w a deep cycle battery would help?
