    Hello all.

    I'm wondering if a 1977 f250 4x4 has a vented or a non-vented gas cap.
The tank is in the rear of the bed.

    Thanks
    Mike

If it has a charcoal canister, it is non vented. Earlier tanks were vented, but with smog controls the vent was eliminated, trucks of that era, over a certain GVW, had less smog control, hence, the F150 arrived, so your 3/4 ton may not have the charcoal canister.

Thanks. Gas caps of that ERA can be confusing.
Where would the charcoal canister be if it has one?
