I don't own a Ford truck (but I used to be a powertrain design engineer for Ford), and I recently became aware of an F1 that will be auctioned off as part of an estate auction. I went to the auction recently where other items of the estate were being auctioned and happened to see F1 body parts in a shed. The owner then showed me the chassis and cab in a barn. He apparently purchased the running truck in the 1970s and it was running at the time. He disassembled the truck with the intention of restoration but has never gotten to it. He told me he put a Mercury flathead engine in the truck and still has the original. I don't know any more than this. I don't know if the auction company will advertise the F1 but I thought the least I could do was join this site and make this sale known. I don't know when the auction for the F1 will take place but I suggest you contact the action company for this information. The estate is in Etters, PA.
