The 240 engine in my 66 F100 is ready to be put out to pasture and I was wondering what V8 engines would make a fairly uncomplicated swap. I want to use the original 3 speed manual transmission and keep the column shift. Thanks in advance.

289.302,351 small block since the 289 was common in 66 one would be able to get needed parts for the swap very easy

289's in 1963/68 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars, 1966/68 Bronco's. Were never installed in trucks.

    302 introduced in 1968 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars, 1969 F100, Bronco & Econoline.

Hi, I'm having trouble finding a new oil pan for my 1966 ford f250 352 v8. Also finding rims has been a major pain. Any help would be great. 1961 - 1966 Ford F100, F250 and F350 Truck Forum Jul 11, 2023
