I'm new here, but I see a lot of questions I've had already answered here so figured I should register.
I inherited a 1969 F250 after my grandfather passed years ago, only recently had the time and the finances to work on it, but I've run into a snag... I need to replace the bench seat and I don't really want to buy a new seat when they run around $1000+.

To my question, what is the latest year of bench seat for a Ford F-series truck that will mate up properly without need for extensive modification? Would a 78' Bench seat work?

Hope I'm not asking a question that's already been covered, if so, my apologies.

I had a nice seat from a 92 XLT lariat in my 72
Bought it in the junk yard. I think it was around $100

Seat all the way up to 1996 will work. Pretty much a direct swap, if you take off the mounts and use those already in your 1969.

I was out in Arizona in December. While walking the yard at desert valley auto parts in Phoenix I saw a beautiful blue bench seat in one of the cabs. It was so nice I would have brought it home with me if I had a larger budget.
I don't know what the price is but if its still there it would make a great addition to anyone's project.
