Hi everyone, last year I bought a 1970 F250 long bed as a father/son project (we are both newbies at auto restoration/repair). The truck ran great until we ran into an electrical issue that I can't figure out. I can get the engine to crank from the relay but there is no power at the ignition. Replaced the ignition component and the neutral safety - nothing. Any thoughts on how to diagnose the issue greatly appreciated.

That is a great chart that RP67F100 has put you onto. I'll be putting that source in my records of Vendors to purchase from. A thanks to RP!

They have them in 2 different size charts and many antique and classic vehicles
My brother turned me on to them, he has several different ones for his 50s era mopars

Hello.I´m Werner and just saw this forum trying to resolve an elctric problem I seem to have with my brandnew F 100 I got last week. Is the wiring chart you show here the same for a F100 -1970?
    Thank you

T he charts are specific to year and equipment
The one shown is a 67 F100 manual transmission, no a/c , base model

Hi Werner. In the the wiring harness at the starter solenoid to alternator to regulator, there is 1, possibly 2 fusable link wires, I believe they have a flag on them saying the amp rating of the link. A probe with a test light will tell you if the links have power going thru them. I don't like probing wires with the point of the test light because the small hole from the probe point can leave the wire inside open to moisture and later on corrosion in there. A small dab of RTV silicone will seal the wire when your done. If you purchase a wiring diagram like mentioned in thread, or look online, choose one that is for your truck having Oil and Amp(Volt) gauge's or Idiot Lights.

Let us know how you make out, Cap
