Hi all,

I just got a 1985 F250 6.9. Doing a restore on the cab and putting a flatbed on. I took the fenders and inner fenders off. There was some insulation looking stuff on top of the inner fenders. Does anyone know if that came stock or was it some after market thing. It was pretty beat up so I removed it. Do I need to put some kind of heat or acoustic stuff back on there or can install the inner fenders without it.

On the inside of the cab there is a sheet of plastic with insulation behind it. Not sure about the fender a picture would help of that area

looks like factory may be able to go with out it. Just a little more road noise
