1988 F250 460 going into limp mode after 10min of driving…

    Hello all, new member Ruben here. I own a 1988 F250 7.5 460 Manual . After I drive it for 10min or so, trucks slows down to a crawl, acts like it’s running out of gas, I’m guessing it goes into limp mode? I already cleaned the air filter box, new air filter, new fuel filter, temperature sensor, fuel pressure regulator, new power cable, …I’m not sure what could be wrong with it? Please help! Any suggestions would be welcomed.

    When the EEC-IV goes into limp mode you'll get a check engine light. If there's no CEL, then it's not in limp mode.

    Things off the top of my head...

    1. crud in tank and the fuel pump strainer collects crud after a few minutes of driving.
    2. fuel pump going out.
    3. running lean or other condition which has the heads hot, and it's getting vapor lock.
