Is the harness the same on a manual truck as an automatic transmission truck.

im some cases NO! there are several more wires going to items such as the neutral safety switch and others, NOT saying you can't adapt one to the other just they are different at the factory when installed

    Will a 1990 f350 5.8l automatic transmission engine bay harness work in a 1990 f350 5.8l manual truck.

Its going to be compatible except for the transmission harness and you'll need to adapt the neutral safety & clutch harness. Either that, or wiring in a relay to trigger the starter manually.
