So we have a 1994 F250 gas motor....duel tanks 5.8. After it got warmed up it would lose power & stall at low RPM & then got to the point where we were driving at 60mph and it died. Hard starting.

We have changed both fuel pumps & assembly, fuel filter, EGR valve, TPS, coolant temperature sensor for computer, ignition coil, fuel pump relay, and O2 sensor.

If left overnight it starts up but run about 5 minutes and then dies. Its like its starving for fuel. Smells like its running rich....smell fuel while cranking. Trouble starting.

What else can it be??? We are a stumped.

I had the same issue with the engine stalling and not wanting to start again till it sat for hours. It wasn't a fuel issue it turned out to be a timing issue.

Turned out that the timing chain was stretched out. Started fine when cold but once it warmed up it retarded or advanced the timing so much that it stalled, wouldn't start until it sat for hours and was completely cold.

I installed a new timing chain and never experienced the stalling issue ever again...
