i have a 1995 f350 460 motor with e4od transmission. i was having problems shifting from 2nd to 3rd.i dont have any codes the over drive light isnt blinking, no problem with the speedometer.i just changer the shift solenoid .abs switch. tps,and a netral safty switch. new fluid, filter lucs transmission fluid. no wireing problems.i do have led tail lights.4 of them no sure if that could be the problem.anybody have any a thing elese i could check thanks

 

doesn't shift from 2nd to 3rd at all

 

i have to turn the truck off wait a few minutes and it will shift normal for a while

 

found my problem i put LED lights in the headache rack and the 3rd brake light was out i put a bulb in and no more shifting problems.after dumping almost $400. in to it .i found this out from a guy on you-tube.who would of thought that led lights would do that.

 

after dumping 700. dallars in to the transmission and all the sensors the problem was the PSOM a circut board behind the speedometer $95.00 to Module mechanics in florida its fixed

 

after the led lights still had the problem

 

found out some new info. the led lights destroyed the computer and the abs module

 

The leds don't draw enough power so ecm thinks they are out. My dodge threw a abs code so I took the taillights out and but old bulbs back. Problem solved no more abs light.
