What is the best cold Air intake And complete exhaust for my 92 5.8 motor.

What type of horsepower and torque gaines would I get and what increase in fuel economy

There isn’t. Most require your real “cold air” snorkel, from airbox to core support, to be removed and a conical filter attached to end of the intake pipe. Think twice about it.

Usually when you add up the costs involved in any effort to swap parts to gain mileage, the gain is so minimal (if any at all) that it takes tens of thousands of miles before you ever recoup the money spent.

If your running a stock motor a cai will not save fuel. Stock air boxes are true cai and breath plenty of air. IMO.

back in 05 i had a 250 v10 4x4, that we stuck on a dyno while testing cia's,exhaust and returning the pcm. we had a 1 hp gain with the cia, zero with a cat back exhaust, after 3 pulls each we went to retuning the pcm alone we got a extra 10 using the stock intake and exhaust ,

    HP gains cost big money,
