Diesel Additives? Do you use any?

    Do you use any?
    If so, what do you use?
    I have tried Lucas Diesel Fuel Treatment. Not sure if it helps.
    I do use Fuel additives in my 4-stroke boat motor and in my gas cars.

    only if fuel is suspect of not being winter blend.
    then the tank gets a dose of Howes anti gel diesel treat.
    otherwise no, these fuel systems are way to sensitive of "contaminates"

    I run Diesel Kleen once a year, but only because I don't put any miles on the truck and had problems with injectors in the past. Also, this year I put some of their Bio Kleen in the tank because I'm driving even less than normal and want to prevent bacteria growth. I think for most "normal" driving situations though, you don't need it.

    Diesel Kleen. During the Winter. The anti-gel blend. If for no other reason than I'm driving in cold...(really cold)....climates at times.......and I have an auxiliary tank on the bed which is more 'vulnerable' to cold and wind. I just dump the proper amount into the aux tank when I do a fill up. I won't bother when the weather warms up.
