2001 4.6l oil light flickering

    I'm new here but have read a ton of stuff about this issue I have replace the sensor problem was still there I've done oil pressure test never lower then 5 psi. Shouldn't I replace oil pump? Or monitor?

    5 psi is pretty darned low. You should be seeing higher than 30 psi at idle, I'd want to see 20 psi bare minimum if the engine was high mileage.

    Could be the pump, or main bearings. Look for signs of metal in the oil, if that's the case it's going to need a rebuild in it's future.
