2006 F-150 about to hit 100k

    Hey everyone my truck is a 5.4 lariat 4x4 and I'm comming up on 100,000 miles. Here is my list of things I want to get done if anyone else could put anymore input on things I need to get done please comment. Thank you!

    transmission flush
    Brake fluid flush
    Full brake line inspection
    Engine coolant flush
    Power steering fluid flush
    Shock inspection
    Front differential fluid flush
    Spark Plugs

    (Already got the rear diff flushed)


    Anything else guys please please comment to help me out!

    Coil boots. When having the plugs changed. Serpentine belt is due, if not changed recently.

    Transfer case and front diff fluids also. ... just noticed 4wd. ......

    Since this truck has an engine with spark plugs which pre-date the redesigned heads, and has the two piece spark plugs prone to breaking when removed....

    If the spark plugs have not never been changed, do you intend to keep the truck another 50,000+ miles? If so then change them. If not, I wouldn't temp fate and leave them for the next owner to deal with.

    I would change the coolant recover tank pressure cap if its on the original cap.
