2008 F-150 Limited

    I have a 2008 F-150 Limited. I thought the U-joints were going out so I ordered them. I was doing an oil change today and Decided to double check what I was hearing. Turns out my U-joints are good but it seems the output shaft bearing is bad on my transfer case. My question is does anyone know if I can put a normal 2x4-4x4 cancer case in place of the one I have which is awd and 4x4? Would I have to mess with the electronics or would it be plug and play?
