2009 F150 stalling on hot days….

    Hello truck owners! I am new to the group and have been extremely frustrated the past two weeks about this issue. I’m hoping anyone has a solution. I’ve already change the throttlebody per YouTube but didn’t fix I drive about 10 miles and once I come to a complete stop, truck stalls. EGR valve? Anybody else experiance this? Thank a ton in advance

    What engine? That matters, because things like VCT come into play with the 5.4L 3-valve V8. Any knocking/tapping sound from either side, which would point to a VCT problem?

    Okay, that rules out the VC T.

    I assume it has not set any codes, since you haven't mentioned those, because EGR will usually set a code.

    So, going with that, I'd look at the MAF to see if cleaning it will help, because lean idle can cause this.
    Next, check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. You want 40+ psi.
    Look at the rear axle, you'll see the fuel pump modules on it. Unbolt it and look at the bottom. Severe corrosion can happen with these, causing weak pressure or complete failure.

    If you run into a dead end with these, let me know - there are more things we can look at.

    Oh damn! Yes was poppin code P2107 Throttle Actuator 'A' Control Module Processor. I replace the entire throttle alread, no change. Havent had a chance to code again.
