I have a 2012 Platinum 6.2L with moonroof. I really like the truck and it runs like a top. I bought it new with a moonroof (it was on it) but never use it. Does anyone know which fuse can be pulled to disable the moonroof's operation. I would hate for someone in my truck to try and open it only for it to break and I be out big bucks to fix it.

Every vehicle I've ever owned with a moonroof is just waiting to out you 2 grand after 3 or 4 years.

If you buy a convertible, it's next to worthless to lock the doors, because thieves will slit the top.

If you buy a vehicle with a moonroof, thieves will break it to gain access.

They can break the side windows as easily, sun roof or not. With Ford trucks they don't even need to do that.... jimmying the door locks takes about 30 seconds. That's why I bought Jimmi Jammers for the F250 and F150. But it will only stop the amateur, someone who knows how and really wants it.... will get it.

Oh, also it should be fuse 48, a 20 amp.

I think I know where I'm going wrong. You were right that fuse 48, 20A, controls the moon roof. It is located under the hood and not under the kick panel like I thought it was.
