Has anyone had an issue with the control module for the a/c & heater blower not keeping a direct contact?
I have replaced it twice. Each time, it looses it's contact when I hit a bump in the road, then I mess with it and the blower comes back on....frustrating.

Does anyone have any suggestions to make this module more securely fastened?

    Thanks, Larry

The control unit needs to be calibrated when replaced.

Put the 15 fuse, turn the key to the on position for 30 seconds without starting. Remove the key, put the fuse back and if the unit is working again then it's probably the connector. It may well be the connector but try ruling that out first.

I recently found a thread on another site (actually used Google to find out about only have two fan speeds #3and#4)found a utube video and seemed easy enough. I ordered the fan module resistor from 1A Auto ( no relationship or affiliation)$26.delivered .Very easy to do, take out three screws on bottom flap of glovebox door.7mm heads. Two 8mm blue screws holding module in and carefully release clip on connector head
HAPPY happy happy. All four speeds work now
Will post pics shortly. Can see where it heatedup at some point.
