2014 F-50 FX2 Compliance with Snow Chain Laws

    I own a Ford F-150 FX2 Supercrew. I am planning a trip to a mountain region that has chain law requirements. My vehicle is configured with Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza tires, size P275/55R20. The Owners manual states to not put chains on this size tire. This seems strange since there appears to be many sources providing chains that will fit the tires. During the selection process the supplier uses not only the sized of the tire but als0 the year and model of the vehicle. Can I make my vehicle compliant with the law using these tires?
