2016 f150 battery drain question

    I just bought a 2016 f150 with low mileage. I am having an issue with the battery draining down when the doors are open or radio is on or lights on for a short time without cranking the truck. I have had the battery tested and came back good so any help would be greatly appreciated

    Has the alternator been tested? Also, check for bad ground cable, bad positive cable, corrosion on cables, etc. Corrosion can cause high resistance, requiring more power for accessories to operate. Make sure the battery when disconnected shows 12.6 volts. When the engine is running, you should see 13.5 to about 14.5 + volts if the charging system is good. Also, how old is the battery, it could have an internal short even if the voltage tests okay.
