I have a 2018 XLT and I want to install a King Ranch dash. Will the wire/plugs be compatible with the lager screen and controls?

 

Waited to see if anyone could help, I can't but man that will be a project!!!!

Everyone has differant tastes. I find my screen in my xlt is big enough, I prefer watching the road while driving.

 

If you are replacing the 2018 XLT dash with a 2018 King Ranch dash then there should be no issues - but you won't get the bigger Sync 4 screen. There may be additional connections on the King Ranch dash that do not apply to the XLT. When you evaluate the screen, be aware there are several versions of Sync modules out there that may not be compatible with your current 2018 configuration. I have heard that you can upgrade the Sync 3 module with a Sync 4 module but it requires and special pass-through harness (for sale through after-market companies). I am not sure if newer year Sync modules are compatible with the 2018 configuration.
