Just had cam phaser replaced @ 26000 miles. Ever since they replaced cam phaser I now have oil leaks and loosing Antifreeze. I do not see any antifreeze dripping on the ground I removed the oils cap and it looks like mud around cap Dealer said this is normal I also see on dip stick does this sound normal

 

I would go back to the shop and have them re-do the work

 

i have been back to the same dealer 5 times and they keep saying it is Normal. This is what i see when i remove my oil cap Does this look normal

what I see in the pic is not normal, and this only has 26k on it?
did you have any leaks before the work was done? if not, then your shop needs to take care of this.

 

I had know leaks before I told it in for some recalls I have another appointment on July 16th at another dealer. I hope it last that long

 

with my 55 years in car dealer shops and with all that mix i for sure wouldn't drive it! that amount is NOT NORMAL ,water or coolant is leaking into the oil.

 

Thank you for the information I do not have any other transpirtation And i need to get to work . Last service report says everything is normal I have no other choice other then drive it to i take it back on mu next appointment @ another dealer on the 16th
