2018 f150 to have a deisel

    Yeah, there have been spy photos and videos for about 2 years showing the diesel exhaust, the sound, etc. With the popularity of the RAM 1500 diesel, it makes marketing sense.

    real world back in aug 16, right after i got my F5 cobra titled , there was one in camo idling at a light near where you stayed ken, noise and stink of the diesel was a give away, but the thumbs up and asking what powers it from the co driver was a great feeling .

    Odd thing that baffles me is you can get more trq and hp in a 150 than the 250 gasser:rolleyes:anim

    6.7L V8 diesel - 450HP @ 2,800 rpm / 935 ft-lbs @ 1,800 rpm

    2018 F150:
    2.7L Ecoboost V6 - 325HP @ 5,000 rpm / 400 ft-lbs @ 2,750 rpm
    3.3L V6 - 290HP @ 6,500 rpm @ 4,000 rpm / 265 HP @ 4,000 rpm
    3.5L Ecoboost V6 - 375HP @ 5,000 rpm / 470 ft-lbs @ 2,500 rpm
    3.5L Ecoboost high output - 450HP @ 5,000 rpm / 510 ft-lbs @ 3,500 rpm
    5.0L V8 - 395HP @ 5,750 rpm / 400 ft-lbs @ 4,500 rpm
