New SD with 6.7 Diesel. First diesel for me. Help!! Sometimes when I press the Start button, all the accessories come on but won’t turn over engine. Am I not depressing brake far enough or not holding down the Start button long enough?

ALSO - This happened to my wife but, when it did start, a message came up “Lowe Power Mode” and we were limited to about 40mph. The Ford app got a message from the truck that said it was the diesel filter and I need to drive above 30mph for 20 minutes.

I checked codes and it was P060A if I recall. Called dealer and service advisor said to also check to be sure DWF wasn’t low. DEF was full. Drove around for 30 minutes or so above 30mph. Today, started right up but immediately shut off. Restarted and ran fine.

HELP!!

 

I would schedule an appointment with the dealer and let them figure it out. There must be a code stored and at least this way you have a history if problems continue.
