I have a 2018 F-250 6.7. I normally fuel with #1 diesel but am planning on a long trip; will use the Pilot Travel Centers for fuel. Can I mix #1 and #2 diesel together without having any diagnostic issues? From what I've researched, #2 diesel has a tendency to jell at cold temperatures. Based on that, would it be fine for my upcoming trip to mix with the #1 diesel already in my tank?

You shouldn't have any problems. I end up mixing the two twice a year when they transition and have never had any problems. Especially in warmer weather, it shouldn't be an issue at all.

diesel1 is diesel 2 with a little more kerosene in it to keep from jelling in winter.
