They haven't released horsepower and torque ratings for it yet.

I assume no std transmission unless we head way down south. Might be fun to row thru 10 gears in stop n go.

I wonder if it's the same block and head as the older 2.3?

Is it a 4V head (4 valve / cylinder)? I couldn't actually see...

If they have a 4V head for that engine, I wonder if the new heads fit the '89 2.3 I have...
It would beat modifying a Volvo head, if the price was right

No, it's not based on the older Lima 4 cylinder. Totally new engine line, with the 2.3L Ecoboost being based on the 2.0L Ecoboost engine.
