2019 SuperDuty Diesel - Drain Water Indicator Light

    Have 56k on my truck and the drain water in fuel light came on. Drained it and light is still on.
    Live in the middle of nowhere, so besides taking to the dealer, any help would be appreciated.

    This very basic maintenance stuff and you should be checking and draining it every few thousand miles.
    The water separator is on the driver's side frame rail under the driver's seating area. Put a drain pan under it, turn the drain bolt and it takes under a couple of minutes to drain.
    Take care of it now, or you're going to stall out the truck and be unable to start it until it's drained.

    i just went through this with the 2014 F350. drained the separator, and then it flashed the CEL and lost power. read codes and got water in fuel. now i know there was no water, so changed the water in fuel sensor and housing because the housing looked rough. light went out and the truck regained all it's power.
