Considering the added cost of the Lariat package, and painting the grill black is going to hurt resale, I'd recommend using Plastidip it so it's not permanent to see how it looks. Peel it off if you don't like it an you're only out about $20. If you do end up liking it, you can't just spray over that surface and have it stick. It needs to be prepped with a coat of paint bonder for plastic, then top coated with the black, and clear coat.
