2021 F350 Autodimming rear view mirror always dark

    We just purchased a used 2021 F-350 King Ranch and it seems the rear view mirror is very dark. The windows are tinted so we are not sure if it is normal or not. How to go about testing the mirror's autodimming function? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the mirror wiring connector?

    I'd first try covering the sensor, then removing it and shining a bright flashlight at it to see if you notice a difference. The sensor is on the back of the mirror, you should be able to feel it pretty easily.
