    Hello,
My 1965 F100 has a 1976 302 V8 in it and the original pan's gasket is leaking oil.
Before I start the job does anyone know if the oil pan can be removed without jacking the motor up?
I conceded with there being pan to I- beam clearance.

    Thanks
    Mike

How much clearance do you have? My guess would be there is not enough. My 67 has a 76-302 as well and no way the pan would come out without jacking engine

64 would be a piece of cake, not so in 65. It may have been possible with the 352, but the 302 has a shorter block skirt, so a much larger wrap around pan. There is just no way to lower it enough to clear the bearing caps.
It may be possible to tighten each pan bolt 1/4 turn or so, and reduce the leakage, if the gasket has not gotten too hard.
