So, I'm looking at finally replacing the spark plugs in my Ranger - I like to be prepared ahead of time before I start stuff like this...

Would it be easier to go in from the top or from the wheel wells? I'm thinking I'm gonna have to go in from underneath to get plug #3 out because of the A/C box...

4, 5, and 6 look like they can be tricky because of all the plumbing in the way...

Anybody have any tips on how this job can be done easily and smoothly?

That's how I did ours. top for 1&2, under for 3
top for 5, under for 4&6
wear leather gloves, the tin is sharp, and will cut you up.
get new wires, those are stuck on.... actually, WELDED on to be more specific
Hold your mouth just right, and cuss like a sailor.......

A set of plug pliers might come in handy.

    Thanks for the info.

Not a bad idea getting wires - looks like I'll be adding those to the list... Already have the plugs...
