So, I have a 89 f350 7.5l with a zf5. I have been having wiring issues with the engine harness for the fuel injection and computer. Truck just shuts off for no reason and if I turn the key off then it starts right up. My question is can I just bolt on a edelbrock intake for a carburated engine and put on a fitech injection system and msd stand alone distributor. This way I still have fuel injection without all the unnecessary crap oad of wires and sensors.

if you decide to get a new intake manifold the intake ports are smaller [not compatible] with early manifold I don't know if they make a manifold that will fit fuel injection heads

Ahh, so an edelbrock won't just bolt on. EHY This Is Expensive. The intake is less then the adapter. Thanks
