4wd conversion

    hi all im looking at buy my first f250 and I can see a lot of 2wd trucks and im just wondering how hard it is or even if its possible to convert one to 4wd? I know I'll need a low box and a new front axles but that's all I know

    Never done a conversion, but I believe you would be ahead if you can find a donor truck. You’re going to need a lot of parts, besides the parts you mentioned, steering and suspension, transmission and drive shafts, crossmembers, and probably exhaust is all going to be different.
    It may be easier if you have a good cab and bed to swap them to a good 4WD chassis
