I'm having a hard time getting the correct MC from online vendors, they will list one for a 56 F350 but the ones that I've received are smaller than the one that I removed from the truck (F100 maybe?) the mounting holes don't even line up so I end up returning them. I'm considering a dual reservoir conversion assembly only because I can't seem to find the proper original style. Anyone know where to get the correct original style MC?

    Thanks, Erik

Did you try RockAuto.com? They list for F-100 MC with 1.00 bore and F-350 MC with 1.250 bore. Maybe you've been getting F-100 MC's

I did and they sent me the smaller unit even though I chose F350 as the vehicle, maybe they have it listed improperly? I've called and talked to a few vendors that list the MC's as F100, F250, F350 and they confirm that what they are selling is actually the smaller unit for the F100 and apologize for listing it wrong. CarID had a conversion MC kit listed for the F350 and when I called to confirm the application they checked and said that it would not fit the F250/350 only the F100 and again apologized for the incorrect listing.
    Thanks

Thanks for update. Does your MC have a name on side, like Wagner or Lockheed. Sometimes the bore is also stamped. Possibly a rebuild kit, if your bore is not scored. IF I RECALL, there is a company (don't know name) that repairs vintage MC's by boring the bore and installing a stainless sleeve back to spec. Just some more thought.

It is a Wagner Lockheed FE-14022. It's pretty shot, the whole thing is seized and it had rust and corrosion inside of it. I went to O'reilly Auto Parts today and the guy at the counter is familiar with the old trucks because he had a 54. He looked up a part that has the correct bore and dimensions and said that he could have it tomorrow so I'm waiting with my fingers crossed. We'll see if I'm lucky or not, it would be good to be able to finally drive this thing besides moving it across the driveway.
