Maybe I am using the wrong words in search fields...but after HOURS of searching thru many forums I can not find and answer to my question. Please be kind on your reply...

I have a 1961 F250 with the MASSIVE Bendix brake vacuum booster. I can not find replacement parts anywhere to repair the unit. Is there a simple swap for a newer type vacuum booster for DRUM-DRUM brakes on a 1961?

was hoping to avoid a disc brake conversion....and I don't have power steering to tap into for a hydraulic booster. I know there are tons of "replaced by" part references for the Bendix unity...but they all seem to come up as OBSOLETE.

I am hoping someone found a replacement where the bolt pattern matches the original brackets....

Not looking for anything fancy....I am trying to keep this as simple and close to original as possible.....but I may have to choke down a mod in this case.

Welcome To FTZ, I see many out there. How about posting the diameter, thickness, and is there an adapter bracket between booster and the firewall?? If you can try posting a couple of pictures of it, Cap.
