I maybe getting a 79 F100 shortbed. Inline 6 with a 4 speed. Needs a clutch and the bed is bad. The truck has under 100,000 miles on it. The inside looks brand new. If I get it, I will post a few pics.

 

1978/79 F100/150: Three different 4 speeds were available.

transmission code stamped on the 2nd line of the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch.

A = New Process 435 / B = SR-OD Single Rail 4 Speed Overdrive / F = Warner T-18.

Do NOT believe the miles shown on the odometer, as it reads to 99999.9 then returns to ZERO!

 

The best part about this truck for me is I know the truck very well. So I know the miles on it is right. Still waiting to hear if I am getting it.
