    Hello All,

I bought a 89 F250 last year and it is has an electrical issue. The past few weeks it has been intermittently slow to start. Now its fully dead. I thought it was the battery so I replaced that tonight and it would not turn over. Also switched out the starter solenoid and notta. If I let it sit after I open the door, all the lights and radio will come on, I will then turn the key and nothing happens and all power is lost. I do not hear the solenoid clicking either. After that, no outside lights, no radio, nothing. Again, just bought a new bat at the time of writing this. I would greatly appreciate some advice on things to check out.

I'd suspect the positive power wire from the battery. My Camaro has this problem, accessories like the radio which drew few amps would work, but there was so much internal corrosion on the cable that it couldn't draw enough amps to close the solenoid, much less turn the engine over.
