Sorry I don’t visit here more often but I’ve got a problem maybe someone here has a solution to.

I’ve got a big bearing Ford Truck (5X5 1/2) 9” that is missing everything Brake related to include the backing plate bolts. While looking for replacement parts it occurred tome that for what I would need to spend purchasing all the drum brake replacement parts I could just as easily purchase Disk brake parts. My concern is I can’t find a kit or post that doesn’t require you to grind, turn, or whatever other means your axle flange down to about 6 1/8”. My flange is 7” and cutting it that far gets pretty close to the wheel studs.

Anybody done this conversion and know a rotor (part number or year and make vehicle) that will clear the axle flange? I would like to use a vented rotor with Cadillac rear calipers.
