Aerostar warning chime

    Over the years the warning chime on my '90 Aerostar has gotten progressively quieter, so much so, that now that I have decided to replace it, I can't find it. does anybody know where I should be looking?

    Welcome to the zone!
    I don't know about you, but annoying chime's buzzers etc. dying is not a bad thing............
    I believe I used to hear it somewhere around the fuse panel on my 97 Aerostar, hope this helps.

    I had an 86 Aerostar back in the day with one that sounded like a blown speaker, if I recall correctly (this was almost 25 years ago!) the module is a little white box with a wiring plug on one end of it.
