I am looking for a drivers side air vent for my 67 F100
It installs in the left kick panel behind parking brake pedal, held in with six screws, has a slide to open and close vent
Not available from normal suppliers, they have the seals but not the vent

I have both 67 and 68 parts trucks, but they're still snowed in. I can compare them in a couple of weeks, if there's not a rush. They sometimes crack, so I don't know condition.

That will be fine , it will be a while until I get back to it
Still waiting for the painter to get it in.
    Thank you

RP, I haven't forgotten, just that the snow is really slow to melt this year. It's pretty much gone now, but still waiting for the mud to dry, I should have some pictures of the vents soon.

The one on my parts truck '67 is broken, but the one on my '68 looks like this. DSCF5788 (2).JPG But I can't get it out if the hole. It looks like I have to seperate the 2 layers, and the plastic is 55 years old, soooo...
Anyway, if it's worth 50 bucks, I will cut the metal, but I'm not going to go that far for less. Count on another 20 or so for shipping. The one on my good '67 truck is identical, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

See post 6 for the applications for this air vent.

Bill; I'm not questioning that, just offering full disclosure. As your post stated, 68 is backward compatible, but some purists would still want the correct 67 part number, weather it matters or not.

I think I will block it off and cover it , since I’m putting a/c in anyway. Thank you for trying.
