    Have you thought about useing a 3G Ford set up?
    160 amp and still 3 wires

    I hate to say it, but I'm uneducated on the 3G Ford Set up...160 amps sounds impressive and could power a lot of goodies:) Where were these used?

    Ford Tarus, and some others. Fordgo is working on one right now, I was going to do a write up, but he already covered it in his thread here

    I think maybe I will talk with Ken, and see if we can pull some of that out, and make a sticky out of it

    I have used the GM set up you are using, and it works well.
    I even adapted one of my rollback wreckers to use that alternator.

    That looks like a slick option for an upgrade and keep more blue oval parts on it! That would definitely make a great sticky I appreciate you educating me on this!

    I sent a note to ken, with an article I wrote for another site.
    He said he'll work on it as soon as he gets caught up
    I have that set up on 3 of my trucks, and I'm really happy with it so far
