Hi Al, have an 89 f250 351 w. I’m trying to flip and make a few bucks. After rebuilding the whole steering column I decided to put new plugs rotor and cap. Now the truck wouldn’t start. Possible pickup coil. I’ve put a new distributor on. I checked over and over that I’m on compression stroke moved it to 10-20* btdc. Then dropped in distributor. Correct firing order and rotor pointing at one. Batter is charger I have tan tests on control side and positive side all wires grounds posts , everything seems good. Solenoid is good. Turn the key, solenoid clicks once or twice then that’s it. Drags but will not turn over.
