Just joined group, I got 2 questions,
    (1) Where to get a good fuel pump ,(I need the whole assembly) the dealer wants way to much .
    (2) how do I know what ball joints I have ? And wheres the best place to get them & the tool ,
I have a 93 ranger 4x4 5 SPD 3.0 v6 short bed ,fuel pump & ball joints are all original equipment so I'm sure the ball joints are gonna be a ****"! to get out ,lol ,thanks for the suggestions ,

Rock auto is a good place to shop.
Ball Joints for your ranger aren't too bad to do, Dave will chime in here, he has done a few. It's been a while for me.
If I remember right, the upper ball joints come already in the control arm, you just swap out the whole thing
The tool can be "rented" at advance auto parts, as well as the parts can be bought there.

Question one: Fuel pumps.............Ford OEM motorcraft or NAPA.
Question two: ball joints................Not bad on a Ranger, they usually come apart easily with a separator tool and a couple whacks of the hammer.
    (don't use a pickle fork.)
