Seems like this might be the place to ask, but what are opinions of the Ford C-Max?

Small hybrid ford car. Think of it as a Ford Prius

Right now there's only 2 in the Memphis used car market for sale right now. If they didn't make too many, I don't know if I want this. You can't drive a block without seeing a Prius.

Never seen one here, and I'm near DC, Baltimore. You see Prius everywhere.
Not saying it's not a good car, just not well known yet

My problem with the hybrid's, is the cost of replacement batteries.
Damn near the cost of a used car.
Is it worth it in the long run?

a friend got a fantastic deal on a 2005 Coda. in 2007 only had 7,500 miles on it.
even came with engineering plans, and all the computer software.
3 years later the batteries went low, and one of them bricked.
he ended up loosing money on that electric POS because only 117 were made for sale in California only, and parts are made out of unobtanium.

Ford hasn't been able to sell very many of them. I'm all for the benefits of hybrids, but its hard to justify the economics on low production versions.

Ford "over estimated" the C-Max fuel mileage. So many people complained that Ford gave them all a check for 500 bucks.
