Cool time lapsed flathead rebuild from a 1946 Ford pickup

    I ran across this totally by accident on Youtube and found it worth sharing.


    There's nothing quite like a flattie. Add a little boost with a supercharger and they get even better... if you can keep them from overheating, lol.

    Very nice ,but I would never put a clean, shiney motor in a truck that also needs sandblast and paint !!

    My friend took a restored 1935 "American Eagle " small airplane to the show in Oshkosh [starting Monday] .The vintage aircraft guys freaked out ! It has a radial three cylinder engine !! Save the oldies !

    Radial engines are a bit different.
    As are rotary engines and oposed piston engines.

    Pretty cool, if they can work that fast I wonder why it costs so much to get a rebuild...:)
