    Hey guys. 1989 F250 460...
    Cranks but no start.
Can hear the fuel pump running continuously when the keys on..

If I use starting fluid she'll sputter start n die.
Leading up to this, the truck would start immediately and run well but suddenly die after 1-4 minutes of driving.

    Fuel filter replaced
Replaced fuel pump relay and connector
Has spark (brand new plugs and wires)
0 psi fuel pressure? Even though gas sprays out of the Schrader valve?

Took PCM out to take a peek and it looks OK except for some weird glue type stuff on one corner. With the PCM out, the fuel pumps can still be heard running continuously with the key on.

    PLEASE HELP

Sounds like either the fuel pressure regulator isn't working. Make sure when you pull the vacuum line off the regulator there is no gas coming out. And when you unplug it when the engine is running, you should see pressure go up. If not, it's shot.

Yeah I would have to agree with FTZ HAIC. Mine was dumping a ton of fuel into the engine to the point where there was so much fuel in the cylinders it wouldn't turn over. Turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. The pumps were working the way they should. But continuous running pump??? Doesn't sound right. Maybe it's just the difference between the 460 and the 300 idk.
