Did a 1996 F250 ever come with a front posi unit?

    I have a 1996 F250 heavy duty with 4 wheel drive. 351 engine. This is a "heavy duty" F250. Did this come with a posi unit in the front axle? Window sticker says "410 limited slip axle". Did a 1996 F250 ever come with a posi in the front axle? Thanks

    I don’t believe they did, only LS. We had a 96 F350 diesel for a brush unit at our FD and it was 4:10 LS also
    Posi trac would make it very difficult to steer

    i had a 95 the ls was rear only, real world posi in the front makes for very hard steering on the road
